Filtered Embrace: Installation
This piece is has evolved into the above photographed mock-up. I’m quite pleased with this iteration as the objects and layout represent a space that provides comfortability with familiarity. The objects in this installation will be salvaged from thrift stores and yard sales and arranged into a familiar setting behind transparent drapery distorting the objects and the memories of past lives they represent – morphing as time passes. The objective of this work is to illustrate the perception of home that is composed of memories that transform and become blurry with time.
