Digital Bra Revision
I’m in the process of recreating the digital bra in hopes to illustrate how popular entertainment affects gender stereotypes and public perception and to generate conversation about the acceptability of objectification for entertainment purposes. This is done through the power of music and its capability to aggressively receive attention.
The recreation of the wearable will respond to touch by playing hip/hop tunes, rap tunes, and vocals that objectify men and women. Touching the garment further objectifies the wearer transforming the person into an instrument that is affected by touch, sound, and eye contact to and from sensual areas of the body.

I will be uploading photos and writing about my process as I develop the work.
