56 Days: I’m Still Here – Day 28: End Week 4

portrait_day2856days_day28_detail56days_day28_web56_week4The left arm was added today with a gray-ish sleeve. I’ve included a detailed shot showing how the sleeves are layered so you can see a portion of the underlying layers.

I had to insert extra fabric in the seam of the arm and at the chest panel seam under the arm to make it a bit looser. Even with this alteration I cannot bend my arms completely at the elbow. It is incredible stiff. The underlying layers prevent me from bending it completely. The portraits show the pants and especially the jacket becoming more deformed. My poses appear as if I’m forcing my arms down because I am!

  1. I think you’ve done a fantastic job on placing each separate piece to the original suit. The close-up showing the layering of the shoulder pieces is nice (work). Do you think that there is some transference of your emotions from any given event onto the piece of clothing you chose to add for that day?
